Caskets
Caskets (coffins) are available in a variety of styles, materials, colours and sizes. The basic shape is either rectangular or the traditional coffin shape – wider at the shoulders and narrow at the feet. Caskets are made of painted (almost any colour) custom wood, veneered custom wood, solid timber or metal.
Caskets are ‘trimmed’ with an interior lining and small pillow. Handles are attached, a name plate inscribed and other fittings such as a crucifix or club emblem may be added.
Our most popular caskets have a timber veneer finish and allow for six pallbearers.

Mahogany Veneer Caskets (with flat lid)

Rimu Veneer Caskets (with flat lid)
This casket is made of MDF* with a rimu vinyl veneer finish.

Painted Casket
(flat lid)
This casket is made of MDF* with high quality painted gloss finish, and is available in any colour choice from the Resene range.
Navy, Dark Green or Burgundy Caskets
This casket is made of MDF* with a high quality painted gloss finish, and has solid rimu edging.
Rimu or Mahogany Solid Wood Panelled Casket
Beautifully finished solid wood caskets with high gloss finish.
Design Art Casket (vinyl transfer)
Showing is a casket in military style. Other choices available are: rainbows, clouds, native ferns, paua, pacific theme, roses, violets, birds, cats, dogs and many more.
